Description:
Manpower is recruiting a CNC Operator on behalf of our client who are manufacturing advanced zero-emission boats to the marine sector.
Working in a clean and newly established manufacturing facility, the CNC Operator will operate a 5 Axis CNC Machine working alongside the production team and CNC programmer to manufacture composite parts.
Monday to Friday 7.30am - 3.30pm, with a competitive salary plus a range of benefits (private medical, health cash plan, pension matching, 35 days holiday).
Ideally we are looking for CNC experience working with composites
The Role
Operate and maintain 5 axis CNC routing machine
Track tool usage and manage tool requirements
Quality inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers and gauges
Loading and setting of tooling
Liaise with production manager to ensure good workflow
What we are looking for
Experience operating a CNC Machine
Experience working with composites
Experience in quality inspection of parts against drawings
Strong attention to detail
