Are you a skilled CNC operator with a sharp eye for precision? Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Preston, is seeking a dedicated CNC Operator to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC machines
Material Management: Trim, measure, and handle materials with accuracy; ensure proper stock management.
FLT Operation: Operate Forklift Trucks (FLT) – training provided for the right candidate.
Manual Machining: Use additional machinery, including Circular and Band Saws, Sanders, Routers, and Guillotines.
Quality Control: Perform detailed measurements and inspections to maintain product quality.
PC-based Production Management: Use computer terminals to manage production schedules and monitor progress.
Team Support: Provide assistance with joinery work and support the wider team when necessary.
Housekeeping: Ensure a clean and organized work environment to promote efficiency and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
Attention to Detail: Precision is key in this role, and you should be able to spot even the smallest discrepancies.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors.
Full UK Driving Licence: A valid driving licence is required for this position.
