Description:
CNC, Beam Saw & Edgebander Operative
* Operated CNC machinery, beam saws, and edgebanders to manufacture high-quality furniture and cabinetry components.
* Read and interpreted technical drawings, cutting lists, and production specifications.
* Set up, programmed, and adjusted CNC machines to ensure accurate cutting, drilling, and machining operations.
* Operated beam saws to cut sheet materials precisely while minimising waste.
* Used edgebanding machines to apply edge tape and ensure a high-quality finished product.
* Conducted routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and safety inspections to maximise efficiency and reduce downtime.
* Performed quality control checks to ensure all finished components met production and customer specifications.
* Maintained accurate production records and reported any faults or material shortages.
* Worked closely with production teams to meet daily targets and deadlines.
* Followed health and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
* Assisted with material handling, stock control, and loading/unloading of materials when required.
