Description:
ur client design and manufacture precision forged and machined components and are currently recruiting for experienced CNC Machine Operators. As CNC Machine Operator you will ultimately be responsible for the set up and operation of 4 & 5 Axis CNC machines for production.
The position is on Days working 07.30 – 16.30 (Monday to Thursday) and 07.30 – 12.30pm (Friday)
Reporting directly to the Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
* Competently set and operate 4 and 5 Axis Heller CNC machines
* Working to tight tolerances and in process measurements
* Loading and unloading of CNC machine tools
* Working to process with no deviation
* Quality control, working to customer specification
* Modification of tool offsets
* Tool management, fixture changing
To be successful in the role of CNC Operator, you will possess the following qualities:
* Knowledge of using 4 and 5 Axis machines
* Previous experience of Siemens, Fanuc or Mazatrol controls is required
* Experience of FASTEMS system would be highly desirable
* Programming experience would also be highly advantageous
* Understanding of component drawings
Pay rate up to £13.47 per hour
This position is based near Redditch and is easily commutable from Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Studley, South Birmingham, Solihull, Worcester, Kidderminster, and Stourbridge.
