Are you an experienced CNC Operator seeking a new opportunity in the stone industry? Mayday Personnel are searching for a skilled individual on behalf of our client. As a CNC Operator, you'll play a crucial role in producing high-quality stonework for a diverse client base across various sectors.
Our Client:
Located in Totton, and specialize in designing, manufacturing, and fitting lightweight stone products. With a small but diverse team, they take pride in an extensive knowledge and global reach.
The Role:
* Operate 5 axis Stone CNC machining centres & 3 axis Waterjet CNC machining centres
* Programming and interpretation of drawings
* Creation of CNC drawings
Your duties will involve programming and interpreting drawings, maintaining machines and tools, ensuring quality control, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, though experience in the stone industry is beneficial, it's not essential.
You should possess a background in engineering, proficiency in CAD, and the ability to think in 3D.
Required qualifications & Skills:
Education in an engineering background
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Ideally experience working with CAD and thinking in 3D
Understanding of construction / masonry drawings
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
Basic understanding of CNC operation
