Our clients are a dynamic company, small yet diverse and with extensive knowledge and skills in their industry! They are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator within the stone industry.

CNC Operator Roles and Responsibilities:

* Operate 5 axis Stone CNC machining centres & 3 axis Waterjet CNC machining centres

* Programming, and creation and interpretation of CNC drawings

* Machine & plant maintenance

* Tool stocking & checking of tools

* Daily pre-operation checks on your specific machines

* Quality control & checking of manufactured products

* Design for Manufacture (DFM) thinking and analysis

* Assist with general shop floor housekeeping and maintenance and day-to-day operations of factory floor

* Compliance with all H&S policies and procedures

The ideal CNC Operator will:

* Hold a recognized qualification within engineering

* Gained experience working within a manufacturing environment

* Ideally experience working with CAD and thinking in 3D

* Understanding of construction / masonry drawings

* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office packages

* Basic understanding of CNC operation
