Description:

We're looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment, working on both production components and development projects.

The Role

Set and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently
Read and interpret engineering drawings and work to tight aerospace tolerances
Carry out setting, measurement and inspection of components
Identify and escalate production or quality issues
Work closely with the wider manufacturing team to achieve production targets
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping

Experience Required

Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances
Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach

Desirable Experience

Breton 5-axis gantry machines
Siemens 840D SL controls
MSP for setting and measurement
Machining composite materials
Basic understanding of G-Code
Experience using hand/air tools and cranes
