Description:
Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for one of out large client in Middleton.
The hours are Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 18:30 Friday 08:00 to 17:30 (with 1 hours unpaid break)
Responsibilities:
* Select the correct type of blade to suit the material
* FLT reach duties
* Maintain and keep the beam saw clean and in good working order
* Follow the process, identify material and label accurately to ensure traceability
* Label off cuts and accurately update Excel stock sheet on laptop
* General warehouse duties
* Experience with operating a table saw, x cut and hand tools is desirable
* Cutting different types of plastic, wood and aluminium
* Working effectively with warehouse/goods in to prioritise workload
* Training will be given on operating all machines and identifying materials
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
* Using measuring equipment to check sheet dimensions
* FLT licence
* Experience working in a production / manufacturing environment
* Experience in cutting large volumes of materials and nesting to maximize sheet yields
