As a CNC Operative, your responsibilities will include:

Loading solid-grade laminate boards onto the nesting CNC machine ready for cutting
Running pre-programmed cutting cycles and monitoring the machine throughout operation
Listening for signs of machine stress or cutting strain and acting accordingly
Removing finished boards from the machine and labelling output for dispatch
Maintaining an organised, safe working area within the machine shop
As a CNC Operative, your experience will include:

One to two years of experience as a CNC Operative or in a comparable machine operating role
Ability to recognise when a cut is under strain through sound and machine behaviour
Physical fitness and the ability to handle heavy panels safely and consistently
A background in wood machining, fabrication, or a related manufacturing discipline is desirable
A reliable, steady approach to production work with strong attention to detail
