CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator – Night Shift
Location: Tewkesbury
Salary: £17.00 - £17.80 per hour + 30% Night Shift Premium
An established precision engineering manufacturer based in Tewkesbury is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator to join their night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-quality aerospace manufacturing environment, producing precision components to exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn machines using FANUC controls
* Manufacture precision components to customer drawings and specifications
* Carry out self-inspection of completed work using drawing and SPC requirements
* Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and engineering workmanship
* Ensure your work area is maintained to excellent 5S standards
The Ideal Candidate
* Fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator
* Completed a recognised apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Strong experience using FANUC control systems
* Previous experience within the aerospace manufacturing sector
* Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience with Nakamura machines with bar feed would be advantageous, but is not essential
