CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator
A leading engineering business is seeking a fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Programmer/Setter/Operator to produce precision turned components for the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities
*
Programme, set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathe machines using FANUC controls.
*
Produce components to customer drawings and specifications.
*
Create offline and online CNC programmes.
*
Use Edgecam software/programming, where applicable.
*
Inspect own work against drawings and SPC requirements.
*
Maintain a high standard of 5C/5S within the working area.
What You’ll Bring
*
Completed recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering.
*
Fully skilled CNC machining experience.
*
Strong experience with FANUC controls.
*
Solid aerospace industry experience.
*
Experience with CNC Mill/Turn machinery.
*
Ability to read and work accurately from engineering drawings.
*
Good attention to quality and detail.
Desirable Experience
*
Edgecam software/programming.
*
Nakamura machines with bar feed.
