Are you an experienced and skilled CNC precision machinist used to producing high quality parts from various materials?

Are you thinking about looking at a new opportunity within a recently purchased company who are moving to larger, new and improved facilities?

I am working with a well established Leicester company who have been recently acquired by a much large organisation. Due to investment and exciting future plans they are now expanding their operations in Leicester, by adding new engineers and moving into a new larger premises

The Role

Working on 3 axis CNC Milling Machines producing parts to tight tolerances
Programming from Drawings Online using Fanuc Controllers
Loading pre-existing programs and ensuring set ups are accurate and offsets
Ensure all tooling is correct and fit for purpose
Checking first offs ensuring batches are manufactured correctly
Ensuring all job cards and paperwork are completed per operation
About You

Preferably be apprentice trained C&G/NVQ
Able to interpret engineering drawings and program
Have expert knowledge of Fanuc controller and G codes
Be able to set and operate machine tools (Haas)
Ideally have experience of CNC Turning (not essential)
Be able to use a micrometer, callipers and other measurement tools
