Description:
Our client, based in the East Cheshire area near Hazel Grove, are looking for an experienced CNC Miller/Turner who can carry out their own programming.
Pay will be £20/hr for the right person, who will be able to work independently, but also within a small team of CNC Machinists.
The company is located in East Cheshire near Hazel Grove and commutable from Stockport, Handforth, Macclesfield and all areas of South Manchester.
Requirements/Duties:
* Set, program and operate CNC milling and CNC turning machines to manufacture one-off and small-batch components.
* Machine components, fixtures, jigs and specialist engineering parts.
* Interpret and work accurately from technical engineering drawings, customer samples, specifications and 3D models.
* Produce components to demanding dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
* Write, edit and optimize CNC programs, including Heidenhain and HAAS-based programming.
* Manufacture and maintain jigs, fixtures and specialist equipment.
