CNC Machine Setter / Operator (Milling)
Location: Bolton
Salary: Up to £22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday to Friday | Early finish at 1:00pm every Friday
Our client, a well-established precision engineering manufacturer based in Bolton, is looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machine Setter / Operator (Milling) to join their skilled production team. The Role
This is a CNC milling position, working with Bridgeport milling machines and 5-axis CNC machining centres to manufacture high-quality precision components.
Key Responsibilities

Set and operate Bridgeport CNC milling machines.
*
Set and operate 5-axis CNC machining centres.
*
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
*
Produce precision components to tight tolerances.
*
Carry out in-process quality inspections using measuring equipment.
*
Ensure machines are running safely and efficiently.
*
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
*
Work closely with colleagues to meet production schedules and quality standards.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will have:
*
Previous experience as a CNC Machine Setter / Operator (Milling).
*
Experience setting and operating Bridgeport milling machines.
*
Experience operating 5-axis CNC machining centres.
*
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
*
A strong eye for detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
*
A reliable and proactive approach with the ability to work as part of a team.
