Salary
* Day Shift: £17.00 - £17.80 per hour
* Night Shift: £17.00 - £17.80 per hour, plus 30% night shift enhancement
The Role
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Semi-Skilled CNC Miller to join a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Tewkesbury. Positions are available on both day and permanent night shifts, manufacturing high-quality precision components for a demanding engineering environment.
You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, ensuring components are manufactured to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Set and operate CNC milling machines using FANUC OI-MF control systems.
* Manufacture precision prismatic components in line with engineering drawings and customer specifications.
* Carry out tool setting and offset adjustments.
* Inspect your own work to engineering drawings and SPC requirements.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area in accordance with 5S/5C principles.
* Work safely while meeting quality and production targets.
Candidate Requirements
We're looking for candidates with:
* Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
* A strong general engineering background.
* The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience using FANUC controls is desirable.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Previous aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
