CNC Miller (PSO) – Fanuc Controls
Ferndown, Dorset | Up to £22.00 per hour | Monday–Thursday | 39 Hours per Week
A well-established and growing precision engineering manufacturer based in Ferndown is seeking a highly skilled CNC Miller (PSO) to join its machining team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who can Program, Set and Operate CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls, producing high-quality precision components for a range of industries.
The Role
* Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls.
* Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
* Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings.
* Carrying out in-process inspection and quality checks.
* Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes.
* Ensuring components meet customer and quality requirements.
* Maintaining a safe and organised work area.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Miller.
* Strong Program, Set and Operate (PSO) capability.
* Previous experience with Fanuc controls is essential.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
* Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
