CNC Miller Programmer (Fanuc) Day Shift
Our client is a world class, long established and growing engineering/manufacturing business, providing precision parts to multiple sectors including aerospace and automotive. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Day Shift CNC Miller Programmer / Setter Operator to run a variety of milling machines, including Doosan NNM570, Fanuc Robodrills, Bridgeport VWC1000, and Doosan VC500. The successful candidate will have FANUC programming experience (Experience of EZ-I guide and an understanding of Mazatrol would be an advantage
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
* CNC Milling / Machine Programming / Setting and Operating
* Selection of correct milling cutters and grades
* Cutting a wide range of materials
* Interpreting drawings & tolerances in metric and imperial sizes
* Using handheld precision measuring equipment
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
* Demonstrable experience in a similar CNC Milling and Programming / Setting and Operating role
* Understanding of tolerances, geometric tolerances & surface finish requirements
* Ability to select correct turning inserts and grades
* Able to Interpret drawings & tolerances in metric and imperial sizes
* Must have Fanuc programming experience
* Able to use all handheld precision measuring equipment
* Organised and able to work to deadlines
* Self-motivated, reliable and punctual team player
USEFUL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
* Experience of EZ-I guide
* Understanding of Mazatrol
DETAILS OF PACKAGE
Salary up to £42,588 PA (£18.00 - £21.00 PH) + Overtime + Competetive Benefits. Overtime after first 39 hours each week. Paid @ Time and a Half. Day shift: 6am to 2.30pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 1.30pm on Friday (39 Hour Week)
