Bridgwater, TA6

Are you a time-served CNC Milling Programmer/Setter?
Do you have Hypermill CAD/CAM experience?
Are you experienced with Fanuc/Siemens?
Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer/Setter with Hypermill experience. Our client specialises in high-quality machining in the aerospace, motorsport, defence and commercial bases.
The Role: You will control the production of programmes and parts on the machines, ensuring that the parts meet the customer's expectations. You will work with the other team members to promote a right first-time approach in the department. Responsibilities include but are not limited too:
* Create programs for the CNC machines from drawings using CAD/CAM packages for offline programming
* Select the correct tooling, work holding systems, change inserts, tools offsets to manufacture parts
* Conduct inspection of parts being produced
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately
* Use the SFDC (Shop Floor Data Collection) to clock on and off the jobs accurately.
* Report non-conforming parts on SFDC and to the team leader.
The Candidate:
* Experienced setting and programming 5-axis milling machines
* You must have Hypermill knowledge and experience
* You must have extensive Fanuc/Siemens
* Reliable commute to Bridgwater
* Time served within a precision environment producing components to tight tolerances
