CNC Miller Operator | Poole | £14ph
Earn £14 per hour as a Milling Operator with an established precision engineering manufacturer in Poole.
Every component you load, check and pass goes into high-quality products where accuracy really counts.
Work Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and finish at 13:00 on Fridays.
As a Milling Operator, you will benefit from:

As a Milling Operator, your responsibilities will include:
Load and unload components and castings on milling machines
Position castings accurately, ready for machining
Check finished parts using vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges
Inspect components for defects and report any quality issues
Follow safe operating procedures and keep the work area clean and organised
As a Milling Operator, your experience will include:
Previous experience in a machining, engineering or manufacturing environment
A basic understanding of how milling machines cut and shape metal
Knowledge of common cutting tools, drills, milling cutters and inserts
Confident use of measuring equipment such as vernier calipers and micrometers
A methodical, accurate approach to quality checks
