Job Title: 4/5 Axis CNC Miller – Mornings/ Afternoons
Location: Nottinghamshire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – rotating shifts
Week 1: Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm / Friday 6am-11.30am
Week 2: Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm / Friday 11.30am-5pm
Pay: £17ph - £21ph inclusive of shift premium
AMLR are looking for an experienced CNC Miller to join a leading aerospace manufacturer based in Pinxton, Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-precision engineering environment, manufacturing components for the aerospace industry.
Key responsibilities for CNC Miller:
* Manufacturing high-precision aerospace components using 4/5 Axis CNC milling processes.
* Working safely and in accordance with company Health & Safety and 5S standards.
* Producing components to the required quality standards, achieving right-first-time manufacture.
* Meeting daily production plans and productivity targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Machining high-value and exotic materials, including Titanium, Inconel and Hardened Steel.
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship and adhering to engineering specifications.
* Communicating effectively with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders as required.
* Supporting continuous improvement activities and adapting positively to changing business requirements.
Requirements for CNC Miller:
* Mechanical Apprentice trained or qualified by experience in 4/5 Axis CNC Milling.
* Previous experience within a precision engineering environment, ideally Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Oil & Gas or subcontract machining.
* Good working knowledge of quality standards and manufacturing best practices.
* Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance and supervision.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to changing business needs.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
