The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller / CAD CAM Programmer to join a precision engineering company based in Slough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC machinist with strong programming experience who is confident working with Haas 3 and 5-axis machining centres and Fusion 360.
Key Responsibilities
* Programming, setting and operating Haas CNC milling machines
* Working across 3-axis and 5-axis machining centres
* Offline CAD/CAM programming using Fusion 360
* Producing components from engineering drawings and specifications
* Setting tooling, workholding and machining parameters
* Carrying out first-off inspection and ensuring components meet required tolerances
* Optimising existing programs, tooling and machining processes
* Working independently to manufacture high-quality precision components
Experience Required
* Strong CNC milling experience
* Ability to program, set and operate CNC mills
* Experience with Haas machining centres
* 3-axis and ideally 5-axis machining experience
* Fusion 360 CAD/CAM programming experience
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Good understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds and machining techniques
* Experience within precision or subcontract engineering would be advantageous
Package
* Up to £25 per hour depending on experience
