Stoke-on-Trent
Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 15:30 (Overtime Available at 1.5X)

Ideal Recruit are currently looking for CNC Millers on behalf of our client in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a family run business, with an extensive workbook consisting of some huge projects within Motorsport, Oil & Gas, Marine, Scientific and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce small batches of high quality parts to very tight tolerances
Operating CNC milling machines to manufacture parts according to the design specifications and blueprints.
Complete work on Fanuc machine
Take pride and responsibility in your work
Calibrating machines for precise measurements and ensuring that the machine settings match the specifications of the component.
Diagnosing and fixing issues related to machine operation, tooling, and part quality.
Adhering to workplace safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a CNC Miller
Must be a self sufficient engineer, who is passionate about their work
Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Skilled in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure part accuracy
High level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce precision components
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and management
Knowledge of workplace safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
