Description:
We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller with a hands-on approach, experience reading engineering drawings and a strong understanding of precision machining.
With a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience, this role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to utilise their machining skills within a professional manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines to manufacture components to specification.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to ensure accurate machining.
Select appropriate tooling and ensure components are produced to the required tolerances.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments where required.
Identify and resolve machining issues to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
Maintain accurate quality records and ensure all work meets required standards.
Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working as a CNC Miller within a manufacturing or precision engineering environment.
Confident setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Good knowledge of tooling, machining processes and precision measurement equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality components.
