A precision engineering business near Wetherby is looking for a CNC Miller to join its team. You’ll be working across a mix of batch production and R&D projects spanning aerospace, telecoms and automotive — varied, interesting work with plenty of overtime on offer for those who want to maximise their earnings.

The Role

• Setting and operating HAAS and Doosan CNC milling machines

• Working across batch sizes from one-offs through to 1,000+ off

• Supporting R&D and prototype work alongside standard production runs

• Programming at the machine for those with the experience to do so

What We’re Looking For

• Proven CNC Milling experience

• Fanuc and/or Haas controls ideal

• Confident setting and operating CNC milling machines

• Ability to work from engineering drawings

• Programming experience desirable but not essential — salary reflects both levels

What’s on Offer

• £32,000 (Setter/Operator) or £36,000 (with programming experience)

• Monthly performance bonus: £50–£400

• Weekday overtime: base rate + £6.50 p/h after 10 hours

• Saturday overtime: base rate + £6.50 p/h

• Sunday overtime: double time

• Bank holidays: double time plus day in lieu

• Days: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:00 / Fri 07:30–15:00

• Permanent role with a steady, consistent workload
