CNC Miller – Shift Work Available | Precision Engineering
Are you an experienced CNC Miller looking for your next opportunity within a highly skilled precision engineering environment?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business producing complex, high-quality components for demanding industries. You’ll be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines, working from detailed engineering drawings and ensuring every component is produced to exact customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
Setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision-engineered components
Working from engineering drawings, CAD data, and production documentation
Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
Adjusting offsets and tooling to maintain tight tolerances
Using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, verniers, and gauges
Ensuring components meet customer quality standards and delivery requirements
Maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environmentWhat We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes, tooling, and workholding
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances and high-quality standards
Confident using inspection equipment
A proactive approach with strong attention to detailDesirable Experience:
Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazak, Siemens, or similar controls
3, 4, or 5-axis milling experience
Experience machining materials such as aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, or exotic alloys
Engineering apprenticeship or time-served backgroundWhat’s On Offer:
