Description:

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller (Setter/Operator + ideally Programmer), the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT when required .

The role is available due to pending retirement so full training will be given

Making parts for machine building/production

Job Title: CNC Miller

Location: Sittingbourne

Salary: From £18.00 per hour, depending on skill level

Hours: 7.30am to 4pm (Friday 3pm finish)

39 hour week

OT paid at time and a half, when required

Ideally experience of

* working on 3 axis Haas machines.

* CAD/CAM programming

CNC Miller skills required

* Experience with Heidenhain Control preferred

* Setting / Operating / Programming

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

* Good knowledge of cutting tools

The CNC Miller

Capable of setting and operation of CNC machine centres - 3 axis (Haas)

Offline programming experience would be an advantage

Programming Haas CNC machinery, CAD/CAM – desirable

Able to work in a variety of materials - aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc
