CNC Miller (Setter) - Oxfordshire - £40,000 + Benefits - Ref 1006
I am currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller (Setter) to join a growing precision engineering business supplying highly regulated and technically demanding industries.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Miller (Setter) looking to work on complex components using modern multi-axis machining technology within a quality-focused manufacturing environment.
The Role
A successful CNC Miller (Setter) will be responsible for setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines, producing high-precision components to tight tolerances and supporting inspection activities when required.
You will also:
* Work from engineering drawings and route cards.
* Carry out in-process inspection and quality checks.
* Support continuous improvement activities.
* Work to ISO9001 quality standards.
* Contribute to maintaining efficient production flow.
About You
You'll ideally have:
* Previous experience as a CNC Miller (Setter) within a precision engineering environment.
* Multi-axis milling experience.
* Understanding of CMM and inspection techniques.
* Ability to read engineering drawings.
* Experience working to tight tolerances.
