CNC Miller / Programmer

Up to £19 per hour
Shillito Group are recruiting for a well-established precision engineering business in Rotherham.
They are looking for an experienced CNC Miller who can programme, set and operate Fanuc controlled machinery.
Fanuc experience is needed, as well as experience using multi axis machinery.
You will be responsible for programming, setting and proving out jobs, selecting the right tooling and working from detailed engineering drawings.
The role will involve:
* Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
* Editing and optimising Fanuc programmes
* Working across 3, 4 and 5 axis machinery
* Selecting tooling, workholding, feeds and speeds
* Producing complex components to tight tolerances
* Carrying out first-off checks and making adjustments
* Improving cycle times and machining processes
You will need:
* Strong CNC milling experience
* The ability to programme Fanuc controls
* Confidence setting and proving out your own work
* The ability to read detailed engineering drawings
* A good understanding of tooling, fixturing, feeds and speeds
* Experience within precision engineering or another tightly controlled manufacturing environment
This is a permanent days role paying up to £19 per hour, with an early finish every Friday.
