CNC Machinists

Description:

We're currently supporting several established precision engineering and manufacturing businesses who are looking to recruit experienced CNC Machinists due to continued growth, increased workloads and ongoing investment in their operations.

Opportunities are available for skilled CNC Turners, CNC Millers, CNC Programmers, Setters and Operators across a range of industries including precision engineering, aerospace, defence, oil & gas, energy and heavy engineering.

The Roles

• Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes and/or machining centres

• Working with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Mazatrol controls

• Producing high-precision components to engineering drawings and specifications

• Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections

• Tool setting, offsets and programme adjustments

• Maintaining quality standards and production targets

• Working closely with manufacturing and production engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• Experience within a CNC machining environment or manual machining

• CNC Turning and/or Milling experience

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• Experience setting and operating CNC machinery

• Programming experience advantageous but not essential for all positions

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
