Perm Days: Mon-Thurs 7.30am-4.15pm, Fri 7.30am-12.30pm - (£16.21 per hour)

Perm Twilight: Mon-Thurs 4pm-12am, Fri 12pm-6pm – (£21.76)

Perm Nights: Mon-Thurs 10pm-7.30am – (£21.01)

CNC Machinist

The Role

My client are expanding their team and are looking to hire a skilled CNC Turner or CNC Miller. You will be adopting their ‘right first time’ philosophy, being expected to achieve high standards of quality, with a focus on the continual improvement of working processes.

CNC Machinist

Main Responsibilities

·      Set up tools onto CNC Machines

·      Load materials onto CNC Machines.

·      Measure components, through the use of measuring instruments (verniers, calipers, gauges, micrometers.

·      Engage with continuous improvement initiatives.

·      Completion of traceability and quality documentation.

CNC Machinist

The Candidate

·      Time served precision engineer (or equivalent).

·      Experience on CNC Turning or CNC Milling machinery.

·      CNC controls – Mazak, Fanuc, Okuma (ideally).

·      Must be able to set up, operate and adjust CNC machines.

·      Prior experience of working with stainless steels.

·      Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
