Location: Commutable for Edinburgh, Livingston, Falkirk, Hamilton and Surrounding Areas
Shift Pattern: 3-Shift Rotation (Moving to Continental Shift Pattern after 3 months)
Salary: Circa £40,000 - £41,000 during the initial training period, rising to £46,000 - £48,000 per annum after transitioning to continental shifts.

We're recruiting experienced CNC Machinists on behalf of our client, a globally recognised manufacturing business based in Livingston. During your first three months, you'll complete your training and induction on a Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern. Once fully trained, you'll move onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, with your salary increasing to circa £46,000 - £48,000 per annum.
Initial Training 3- Shift Pattern (First 3 Months)
Following successful completion of your training period, you'll transition onto a 4 on, 4 off continental shift pattern, offering an increased salary of circa £46,000 - £48,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
Setting and operating CNC milling and/or turning machines.
Loading CNC programs and making tooling offsets.
Manufacturing precision-engineered components to technical drawings and specifications.
Carrying out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment.
Working to strict quality, safety and compliance standards.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the machining department.
Candidate Requirements
Time-served CNC Machinist or HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering.
At least 2 years' experience within a CNC machining environment.
Experience setting and operating CNC machinery.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts before moving onto a continental shift pattern.
