Job Role: CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre)
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 per hour
Metalis are working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a CNC Machinist (Horizontal Machining Centre) to join their team.
Job Duties:
Set, operate and program horizontal machining centres
Read and work from engineering drawings
Support continuous improvement activities
Ensure machining processes are followed
General machine maintenance
Carry out inspection checks on parts
Use manual measuring equipment
Job Requirements:
Apprentice trained machinist
Experience with horizontal machining centres
Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
Experience working within a heavy engineering environment
Salary & Shift:
£17.00 - £18.00 per hour
Monday to Thursday, 8am - 4:30pm & Friday, 8am - 1pm
