CNC Turner / CNC Miller – Precision Engineering
Location: Ipswich (Outskirts), Suffolk
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Stonetech Recruitment are working with a well-established and expanding precision engineering company on the outskirts of Ipswich who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner or CNC Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team.

The Role
*
Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes or CNC milling machines.
*
Manufacturing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
*
Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.
*
Carrying out first-off, in-process and final quality inspections.
*
Making tooling and offset adjustments to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
*
Working to high quality standards within a precision engineering environment.
*
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a clean, safe working area.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Previous experience as a CNC Turner or CNC Miller within a precision engineering environment.
*
Ability to programme, set and operate CNC machinery.
*
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances.
*
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
*
Reliable, motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
*
Experience in both milling and turning would be advantageous but is not essential.
