Location: Aldershot
Rate: £16 - £20 per hour PAYE DoE
Hours: Monday–Thursday 7am–4.30pm, Friday 7am–1pm

We are actively seeking a CNC Machinist to manufacture precision-engineered components for a well-established company based in Aldershot.

The position is within a subcontract precision engineering environment, producing a variety of components for customers across sectors including aerospace, defence, medical and marine.

Responsibilities:

* Setting CNC lathes and milling machines for production runs.

* Operating machines and monitoring the machining process to maintain quality and productivity.

* Creating, modifying and proving CNC programmes where required.

* Working with Fanuc, Siemens and other comparable CNC control systems.

* Working to close engineering tolerances, typically in the region of ±0.1mm

Requirements:

* Previous experience in a CNC machining environment

* Experience setting and operating CNC machinery

* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
