We are recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller & Programmer to join a busy precision engineering company.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
Produce one-off and batch components from engineering drawings.
The CNC Machinist / CNC Miller will optimise programmes to improve efficiency and cycle times.
Select tooling, fixtures and workholding.
The CNC Machinist / CNC Miller will carry out first-off inspections and quality checks using measuring equipment.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.RequirementsEssential
Proven CNC milling experience.
CNC programming experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Desirable
CAD/CAM programming experience.
Experience with either Haas, Hurco, Mazak or Fanuc controls.
Knowledge of Haas and Matsuura machinery.
Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
