CNC Setter Operator 

Meridian is recruiting for CNC Setter Operators with experience in setting and operating CNC lathes to join our clients team on a permanent basis. They offer a great working environment with recent heavy investment in machinery and training / progression opportunities for their staff.

Shifts are either:
Monday - Thursday 2pm - 11.30pm; or
Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm.

The Role of the CNC Setter Operator:

Setup and operate CNC lathes
Working to engineering drawings to produce components from predominantly cast stainless steel
Inspect work for proper dimensions and be able to document results
Working to production plans to meet production targets and KPIsExperience required:

Experienced in working with CNC lathes.
Experience of setting and operating machines using either Fanuc or similar controls is essential for this role
Competent use of gauges and tooling
Experience in minor offset / program adjustments
