Our client has been operating for over 30 years, and in that time, they have gained a wealth of experience within the industry through their team of engineers, covering a range of disciplines.
Position Overview:
Our client is looking to employ an experienced CNC machinist to operate their CNC machine section consisting of 2 CNC lathes and a CNC mill, manufacturing special components as well as small batches circa 5s to 20s. They are currently looking to expand their CNC section with another CNC Lathe to replace their 2 current ones, so experience in programming and operating in ISO would be advantageous.
Position Duties/ Requirements:
Proven CNC Machining and Programming experience.
Operate CNC Lathes and CNC Milling machines.
Program CNC Lathes and CNC Milling machines.
Programming machines with multi-station head tooling and live tooling.
Working to ISO standards.
Plan workloads/ component loading.
Ensure machining optimisation.
Able to multi-task and operate several machines simultaneously.
Keen eye for detail, with good self-quality inspection.
Keeping a clean and safe working environment.
Adhering to company safety and quality standards and policies.
