Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm

Our client is a well-established and highly specialised automotive engineering business based in West Sussex, with a strong reputation within the luxury automotive sector.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their production team. The role will focus on producing specialist automotive components, setting existing programmes and developing new machining solutions.
CNC Machinist - Position Overview
Operate CNC turning and milling machinery to manufacture components.
Set existing CNC programmes, fixtures and tooling.
Create and validate new programmes using CAD/CAM software.
Work with engineering and production teams to optimise complex component manufacture.
Carry out first-off inspections and support quality control.
Troubleshoot mechanical and programming issues.
Manage machine utilisation, materials and upcoming production requirements.
Identify improvements to processes, tooling, routing and drawings.
Support the development of new programmes, fixtures and manufacturing solutions.
Maintain accurate production records and contribute to continuous improvement.
CNC Machinist - Position Requirements
Minimum 3 years' relevant CNC machining experience.
Haas, Heidenhain, SolidWorks and CAMWorks experience is essential.
Experience setting and modifying CNC programmes.
Experience creating programmes using CAD/CAM software.
Experience machining castings and forgings would be advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good organisational and communication skills.
Able to work independently and manage priorities.
Automotive experience or an interest in automotive engineering would be advantageous.

£16.00-£21.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Monday to Friday working hours - 07:00 - 16:00.
