Description:
A leading engineering firm are on the lookout for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their dynamic team based in Burnley.
This role involves achieving high standards of quality while maintaining targeted levels of output and ensuring full product traceability.

What will you be doing as a CNC Machinist?
* Setting up tools and loading materials onto CNC machines
* Carrying out machining of components and ensuring they meet drawing dimensions and tolerances
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Contributing to continuous improvement and maintaining a clean working environment
* Handling weights up to 25kg and completing quality documentation
* Using computer equipment for data purposes and practicing 5S principles
What do you need?
* Time served as an engineer or equivalent qualification
* Experience with stainless steels and CNC programming using Fanuc/Okuma/Mazak controls
* Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machine tools and conventional milling machines
* The ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
