Description:
BIG ANT Group are looking for a Machine Operative to join an Engineering company in Plympton, Plymouth. They specialise in manufacturing specification parts to Aerospace, Medical, Defence, Oil and Gas sectors.
This role will require an experienced operative to load and operate CNC machinery. Training on the specification of products will be provided and use of the specialist machinery also.
Your duties will include manufacturing, inspecting and checking quality / operation of components made.
Experience in working from drawings is preferred.
Working hours: Alternating shifts weekly, a week of early shifts, then a week of late shifts (07:00-15:30 Mon-Thur. & 07:00-13:00 Fri then 15:30-01:30 Monday to Thursday only). You will receive an enhancement of 25% for hours worked across the late shift.
Hourly rate: £11.78 p/hr (negotiable depending on experience)
