Salary £37,500 - £48,800 pa
A well-established precision engineering business is seeking to appoint an experienced CNC 5 Axis Miller / Setter. This company offer excellent benefits and long-term stability. The Role
The 5-Axis Miller will operate and program a variety of machines including simultaneous 4 or 5-axis. Parts are produced for customers in demanding industries such as Food Production, Defence, Space Exploration, Medical products and Scientific. For this role we are seeking an individual with good around workshop skills including Milling, Turning, Wire EDM.
Duties of the role will include:
* Setting, operating and running CNC 5 axis machining centres.
* Work with Mazak CNC machine tools and hyperMILL CAD/CAM software.
* Handle complex Mazak configurations.
* Carrying out machine setups for routed machining processes
* Supporting fixture, tooling and program improvements
* Machine a variety of metals and plastics.
* Work to high tolerances.
The Person
* Experienced 5-axis machinist using CADCAM.
* Highly accurate and fast worker.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Experience with HyperMill and Mazatrol, although training can be provided.
Hours of Work
* Basic week of 37 ½ Hours
* 08:00 to 16:30 Monday to Friday
* Plenty of overtime available
* 5 weeks holiday
