Role: CMM Inspector
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Onsite – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: South Molton
Owen Daniels are supporting a leading manufacturing company, and we are looking for a CMM Inspector to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the business.
CMM Inspector – Key responsibilities:
Inspect aerospace components using CMM equipment and standard measurement tools to ensure accuracy and quality.
Create, operate and maintain CMM programmes while following engineering drawings, GD&T requirements and customer specifications.
Complete First Article Inspections, in-process checks and final inspections in line with AS9102 and quality standards.
Review inspection data, investigate issues and support corrective actions, audits and continuous improvement activities.
Maintain quality records, support manufacturing teams and assist with equipment calibration, training and new product checks.
CMM Inspector - Essential Skills & Experience:
Experience working within a manufacturing environment, ideally within a regulated industry.
Previous experience in Quality Inspection, using measurement equipment such as micrometres, gauges and callipers.
A minimum of 12 months’ experience in a quality inspection or similar role.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
