Role Overview:

As a Cloud Marketplace Operations Expert, you will play a pivotal role within the Software Pillar of the Technical Pre-Sales function of Business Solutions and Services. This role encompasses licencing, contracts, compliance, Software Asset Management & Compliance, and a multi-marketplace approach. You will support streamlining and managing the marketplace portfolio across multiple business units, leading and managing the onboarding of new customers, and aiming for a 100% retention rate. Your expertise will be vital in providing high-standard service across various software solutions and platforms, especially within the Microsoft portfolio.

* Daily management of the Cloud Marketplaces.

* Oversee the marketplace inbox, addressing billing issues, credits, manual orders, and invoicing.

* Monitor and support incoming customer communications regarding support and licence/product queries.

* Manage the onboarding process for monthly billing until customer engagements transition to the Customer Success Manager.

* Proactively manage and secure software renewals, working towards a 100% retention rate and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

* Build strong relationships within the wider business and collaborate with external suppliers.

* Serve as the first point of contact for updates and support calls regarding licensing and commitment requirements.

* Manage Microsoft admin permissions for customers.

* Assist in presenting new and renewal proposals.

* Streamline Cloud Marketplace offers to include a wider portfolio (Adobe, AWS, Google, etc.).

* Deliver customer marketplace demos to encourage self-service adoption.

* Support Vendor Alliance Managers by collecting revenue statistics and monitoring the success of growth across key Marketplace vendors.

Candidate Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft tools

* High level expertise in Microsoft licensing.

* High-level knowledge of Microsoft Partner Centre and Adobe licensing.

* Proficiency in Adobe Partner Connection.
