About the Opportunity:
We require a full time Semi-Senior Cloud Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ practice experience. We have fantastic modern offices in Colindale, North London. We are forward thinking in our approach to both clients and staff and offer a supportive and progressive working environment. This position offers flexible working hours, including working from home and study support.
You will have a portfolio of clients to manage, including dealing with the production of management accounts, processing journals, reconciliations, and VAT returns under the supervision of Senior Cloud Accountants. You should be competent on Xero and other MTD compliant software and be able to assist with the training of clients on these platforms. About the Responsibilities:
Joining as Cloud Accounting Semi Senior your responsibilities will include:
* Processing of VAT Returns.
* Good Knowledge of VAT thresholds and various VAT schemes.
* Sound knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, cash accounting, invoice accounting, partial exemption, margin scheme, sales invoices, purchase invoices, bank reconciliations and control accounts reconciliations.
* Be able to assist in the production of Management Accounts.

You should be self-motivated, use your initiative and possess good organisation skills with the ability to work accurately.
Qualifications:
• Achieved AAT Level 3
Software Skills:
* Excellent knowledge of Xero and Xero Apps. Xero certification is required and MTD certification would be an advantage.
* Knowledge of QuickBooks and other MTD compliant/bridging software an advantage.
* Knowledge of Sage Line 50 an advantage.
* Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel essential.
* Knowledge of other accounting software would be useful.
* Good knowledge of Dext and/or Autoentry
