Role - Closure Accountant
Duration - 6 Months
Client - Local Authority
Location - Home Counties
A good local authority client of mine are seeking an experienced Closure Accountant for a 6 month period to take over and lead on the closedown for 23/24 accounts and work with auditors to get the accounts finalised.
The role can be offered on a hybrid basis 1 day per/week in office but can be flexible if you are located far afield.
Key Skills/Experience Required:
Experience of Closure of Accounts Excel Model (advanced spreadsheet skills).
Collection Fund Accounts experience.
Capital financing and fixed asset experience.
Preparation of statement of accounts.
Experience with liaison with external auditors.
Recent local authority experience in a similar role.Interviews are being held via Microsoft Teams this week and next, to begin at the start of July.
