We are a large multi-award winning Health and Social Care Training Company looking for a full time experienced Clinical (active PIN essential) Training Manager to join our ever-growing team. We deliver courses in children’s services, adult, clinical as well as leadership & management so ideally looking for someone to work across these areas.
As the Training Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership, strategic direction and oversight of all the training functions. You will ensure all Clinical Trainers are approved health professionals and are equipped to meet the requirements and needs of the business and you would also be overseeing our Non-Clinical Trainers also.
The Training Manager will work with key cross functional areas to ensure the success and delivery of our clinical and non-clinical courses and ensure all training SLA’s and KPI’s are achieved, resulting in positive outcomes for all our customers.
Responsibility:
* Lead and manage a large team of Clinical and Non-Clinical Trainers
* Proven experience as a Clinical Trainer in various fields
* Oversee the Trainers to ensure they are supported and meeting the required standard
* Maintain knowledge and standards through ongoing CPD and as a subject matter expert across all contracts
* Manage the impact of all internal and customer-driven change and initiatives on the clinical training operations
* Ensure training courses are up to date and incorporate all relevant clinical and operational guidance including customer updates
* Manage the quality assurance processes for the content, design, and delivery of all training
* Design bespoke training courses based on the needs of our customers
* To encourage, enforce and comply with current health and safety, clinical governance and professional service standards including regular monitoring in the form of in-house audits and other methods and action to address issues arising
* To maintain best practice through established CQC, Ofsted and Health and Safety legislation
Knowledge and Skills:
* Strong clinical training background at a similar level, with the ability to apply competencies across all contracts
* Valid NMC Pin - essential requirement
* Experience in project management and leadership
* Teaching/training qualification
* Post graduate qualifications
* Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
* Familiarity with e-learning platforms and practices
* Experience in the design, development, and implementation of training courses
* Highly organised, able to work on own initiative, with excellent attention to detail, able to produce high quality work to agreed deadlines
* Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
The successful Training Manager will come from a clinical background either working in this sector at present or previously as a nurse/clinician. They may have moved into a commercial, marketing or training role or could be leading training or education in the NHS or higher education.
