Role: Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN)
Setting: Small Nursing Home
Location: Bridport
Hours: Full Time - 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for a dynamic and self-motivated, compassionate individual to join their team as a Clinical Lead (RGN/RMN) to work within a small Nursing Home in Bridport rated 'GOOD' by the CQC.

My client are very well thought of throughout their communities. You will be caring for the elderly, some of whom may be living with age-related conditions. The home has an excellent team who are passionate about providing quality care to those who are no longer able to manage at home. The staff make a tremendous effort to provide a positive environment to support all residents in their care, helping residents to regain independence, choice and freedom in their lives in a safe and comfortable setting.

As a Clinical Lead you will:

• As a team leader for nursing staff, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our residents receive the highest standard of care possible
• You will be expected to promote independence and dignity, while also enhancing the lives of those in our care
• You will be responsible for driving quality standards and ensuring that our Home is in compliance with CQC guidelines
• Be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe environment for all residents, employees, and visitors
• Work closely with the Home Manager and take on day-to-day management responsibilities.

To succeed you will be:

• An experienced Registered Nurse with knowledge of quality and clinical governance processes, including audit and care services
• Can lead a team effectively and ensure that rotas are in place to ensure the smooth, efficient operation of the home
• Expertise in creating comprehensive risk assessments and care plans, as well as knowledge of regulatory frameworks
• Confident in managing all aspects of medication management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
• Capable of supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times
• Passionate about providing excellent care and supporting the residents and their families

Skills/ Qualifications required of the Clinical Lead:

• Valid UK NMC PIN (RGN or RMN)
• Experience at a supervisory level in a similar care environment (2 years experience)
• Elderly/Dementia experience
• Good working knowledge of current CQC regulations
• Experience of leading and managing a team
