A leading company in the healthcare sector is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to enhance their Cambridgeshire-based team. As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in the processing and testing of Flow Cytometry samples, performing a range of complex tasks with precision and independence.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Clinical Laboratory Technologist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Demonstrate proficiency in complex clinical tests, adhering to department procedures with minimal supervision.
2. Take initiative in the accurate execution of test results, ensuring thorough documentation.
3. Master and troubleshoot all applicable instruments and procedures within the department.
4. Engage in continuous professional development, including the delivery of periodic in-service programs.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Clinical Laboratory Technologist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences with additional laboratory experience.
2. Proven industry experience in a laboratory setting, with a focus on high complexity and fast-paced testing.
3. Proficiency in flow cytometry and working in a biohazard environment.
