* Salary - £30,000 pro rata

* Duration – 6 months
This growing law firm is currently seeing a Client Service Assistant 4-days a week (Mon, Tue, Thurs & Fri between sifts of 9-5 & 10-6) at their London office (EC1M area) for a duration of approx. 6 months.
The overall purpose of this role is to act as the first point of contact to all clients, staff, and the public visiting the office whilst offering the highest levels of customer service to offer a welcoming environment.
As front of house, you will effectively handle a busy volume of incoming calls, book meeting/event rooms, prepare/set-up meeting rooms aligned to specific requirement (layout, equipment & catering beforehand) and oversee the reception/kitchen areas - reporting any issues to management and contractors where appropriate.
Working closely with the Client Services Team you will support the promotion and coordination of in-house company events to include taking responsibility for catering, AV/technical equipment requirements for client meetings and events etc. Demonstrating effective admin support skills will be required to coordinate email, faxes and undertake typing, produce documents and photocopying; therefore, solid experience of MS Office systems is a must (Excel, Word PowerPoint). You will additionally monitor stock levels, order supplies and demonstrate strong negotiation skills to ensure best value for money.
This role will be suited to somebody with recent experience of a similar front office role gained in a legal/professional service environment. Strong communication skills – in person & written are essential as are first class customer service abilities to always remain professional calm and resilient. Prior events management experience is needed as is the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines in a pressurized environment. You must be flexible, a good team player who can follow direction well able to work with minimal supervision to get a job done.
