Direct Response Employment Services are delighted to be supporting our client in Swindon in the recruitment of a client portfolio Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step within their accountancy careers. This is more than just being on hand on answer clients’ questions but there to challenge thinking, create new opportunities and avoid negative risks for clients.

As a Client portfolio manager you will be able to offer the best and highest level of service to your clients where you can take full control, if this sounds like it could be you, then check out the duties below.

Key Duties:

* Assisting with the onboarding of new clients to ensure that they have a friendly contact and gets them off on the right step to excellent support.

* Building deep, long standing relationships with your clients.

* Working with the wider team to ensure plans are implemented.

* Look for opportunities with clients to improve processes and business opportunities.

* Working alongside the professional support network alongside clients to help the client achieve their rounded business and future goals, supporting your clients as a business partner. This may include fellow professionals such as financial advisors, mortgage brokers, business coaches etc.

* Reviewing of financial information with clients but using in a way which focuses on both tax management/planning as well as future growth opportunities.

* Building robust forecasting models and challenging clients to use this and interact as the business grows and develop.

* Identify ways that we may be able to help our clients further and enhance the service level that we are offering.

Experience / Skills:

* Someone with a passion for business in support of their accountancy qualifications.

* Fully chartered (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or qualified by experience with a track record in a practice environment.

* Detailed experience of preparing and being involved in the review of both personal and business accounts and tax planning.

* An eagerness to do more than just “crunch the numbers”

* Someone who loves working with the wider team in delivering results.

Salary for the role is between £40k - £49k depending on experience.

Its not just practice experience our client is looking for but someone who can also work as a business advisor to clients so you would be working just below director level, so if this sounds like it could be you, then we would love to hear from you
